By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – As the regional drought continues, the Town of Franklin has enacted what they call a full water ban. The Town says on Wednesday the state elevated Franklin to Level 3 Critical Drought status which means required water use restrictions in order to maintain enough for drinking and firefighting. That means no watering lawns and landscaping, not even with a hand-held hose; no washing cars unless it’s for safety, and no hosing down of buildings, parking lots, driveways or sidewalks. Violators could be fined up to $200.
