By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Special Town Meeting is tonight at 7pm at the Middle School. Among the eight articles that will be considered are: reauthorizing the Means Tested Senior Property Tax Exemption; adding new tax exemptions for veterans; adopting an excise tax on restaurant meals to help pay for a town economic development officer, adopting a new Multi-Family Overlay District to comply with the state’s MBTA Communities law and transferring control of the three Hughes Farm open space parcels to the Open Space Preservation Commission.
