By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Uxbridge firefighters are being thanked for an unusual kind of rescue. The Massachusetts Equine Clinic says their team of doctors and technicians responded to an emergency call that came in for a young horse who became trapped while being transported. The horse had jumped over the chest bar in her trailer, and got herself stuck in an extremely tight spot. They say the technical rescue team from MA Fire District 7 and fire departments from Uxbridge, Mendon, Sutton, and Auburn all helped get her out.
