Arrests Made in Franklin Smoke Shop Break-Ins

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin Police have made arrests in one of two break-ins a month apart at the same smoke shop. Moonlight Smoke Shop on East Central Street was hit on a Sunday February 4 and then again last Sunday March 10 with the thieves making off with around $6000 in merchandise as well as doing significant damage each time and the owner says he may have to close down. Police tell the Franklin Observer three juveniles have been charged for the February 4 incident but the March 10 break-in is still under investigation.
