By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Plans have been submitted to remake a vacant lot on a busy corner in Milford. Patch reports a developer has asked the Zoning Board of Appeals for a special permit to build an auto glass repair shop at the former Gibbs gas station on East Main Street at Route 85. The site has been vacant since 2008 when an underground diesel tank leaked thousands of gallons of fuel. The developer seeking to remake the site is Geara Realty of Hopedale which reportedly also owns Ray’s Auto on West Street.
