Worcester County DA Contributes $2,000 to Milford Catholic Charities Holiday Meals Program

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Worcester County District Attorney has donated $2000 toward the Catholic Charities Holiday Meals program in Milford. Joseph D. Early, Jr. says the money came from his Drug Forfeiture Community Reinvestment program which uses money seized from drug crimes to support the community. Catholic Charities says they spend about $5,000 a month on gift cards to distribute to members of the community so they can buy food and the $2,000 from DA will help them stretch that further.
